Legal Assistant Bio

Grace is from Southold, New York and graduated from American University’s School of International Service with a BA in International Studies in May 2021. While at AU, she participated in the Arts Department’s DANCEWORKS productions and wrote for both the campus satire publication The Rival and the literary magazine AmLit. She is currently attending American University Washington College of Law’s part-time evening program and has an expected graduation date of May 2027.

Grace has worked previously as a legal assistant for real property tax, workers’ compensation defense, and insurance defense attorneys before working at SLPC. She hopes to either become a criminal defense attorney or an international human rights law practitioner in the future. In her free time, she enjoys writing, playing tabletop games, and participating in local mutual aid groups.
